As a passionate sewer who enjoys creating and teaching, I have enjoyed many years of creative exploration which began when my heart fell in love with dressmaking in high school. My sewing passion has always been driven by overlocking/serging and coverstitch, I love working with the different stitches you can achieve on an overlocker and always achieving a professional looking stitch.
After an extensive career in the sewing industry, I have become the Founder and Head- teacher of Sew into Overlocking. Through my classes, I have been able to travel across Australia and educate fellow creators about how they can get the most out of their machines.
My mission is to change people’s perceptions about overlockers/ sergers and coverstitch machines and take these machines from being misunderstood and underutilised to becoming a valued part of the creative process. I endeavour to make all my classes enjoyable by encouraging everyone to understand the different stitches and techniques with a few tips and tricks thrown in.
Includes morning & afternoon tea.
